Reliance Jio Bans Porn Sites In India | DOT Guidelines Latest Report

Have you been a reliance Jio user and your access to porn websites have seemingly blocked by Jio? Then you are not the only one to ban. Recently an official news has been declared by the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) ordering all the internet service providers to ban porn sites on their network after Jio bans porn sites on its network.





Firstly reliance Jio users were blocked from accessing the adult sites. It is being speculated that other network providers  such as Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, and BSNL may lead next to ban porn sites on their network

Department of Telecommunication has ordered all the network service providers to ban porn sites in India leading after Jio banned such sites to their customer.

For the unknown, the Uttarakhand high court in a judgment on September 28, directed all internet service providers (ISP) to comply with the Union government's order which stated that almost all porn websites were to be banned. Since the government thinks that there is a need to stop unlimited access to adult content or porn websites that result in the adverse influence on Indian youths.

Now all the internet service providers will block access to the adult content on their websites. Not only India taking its first step there are also countries such as China who has already taken its step banning 22,000 adult sites.
